As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
• Proficient in deep water and ability to use watercraft (Surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
• Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam including a 550-meter open water swim
• Experience working with or teaching children preferred
• Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
